تراجعت أسعار الذهـب خلال تعاملات الاثنين. لتواصل خسائرها للأسبوع الثاني على التوالي. في ظل تعثر المفاوضات بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران واستمرار التوترات في الشرق الأوسط.

وهبط سعر الذهب الفوري بنسبة 1.8% ليسجل أكثر قليلًا من 4,500 دولار للأوقية خلال التداولات المبكرة. قبل أن يقلص جزءًا من خسائره، فيما استقرت العقود الآجلة بالقرب من 4,600 دولار للأوقية.
وفقد الذهب نحو 13% من قيمته منذ بداية الحرب في الشرق الأوسط، مع استمرار ارتفاع أسعار الطاقة وتأجيل توقعات خفض أسعار الفائدة.
وجاء هذا التراجع بالتزامن مع توقف التقدم في محادثات السلام، بعد رفض الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب المقترح الإيراني الأخير، ما أبقى حالة التوتر قائمة.
وتتواصل التوترات في منطقة مضيق هرمز، أحد أهم ممرات شحن النفط عالميًا، وسط تقارير عن تحركات عسكرية متبادلة، ما يزيد من حالة عدم الاستقرار في الأسواق.

وفي المقابل، تواصل البنوك المركزية زيادة احتياطاتها من الذهب خلال الفترة الأخيرة، في وقت تترقب فيه الأسواق قرارات اقتصادية أمريكية مرتقبة هذا الأسبوع، تشمل خطط الاقتراض وتصريحات مسؤولي السياسة النقدية وبيانات اقتصادية جديدة.
